It’s a struggle that many thirsty drinkers have experienced, but the days of having to elbow your way to the bar are a thing of the past at one London bar.
The bar, called 5cc Harrild & Sons, has enlisted the help of an artificial intelligence system to help the bartenders.
The AI bar uses a facial recognition system developed by DataSparQ, that puts customers in an ‘intelligently virtual’ queue.
This ensures customers get their hands on a drink based on the order they arrived, and not based on who has the sharpest elbows.
